Lake Lodge, recently awarded the British Tourist Board 5 star
award, is a unique family home overlooking a private lake which
provides stunning views including wonderful sunsets. It is set in
grounds of 18 acres on the edge of Maxey village, which is between
the cathedral city of Peterborough and the historic town of
Stamford. With four double bedrooms it provides ideal accommodation
either for a large group or two families, with two bedrooms on the
ground floor, two on the first floor and large lounge, kitchen and
dining room. The house has been recently renovated and is equipped
to a high standard and has been accepted into the English Tourist
Board Families Welcome Scheme. The grounds include several specimen
trees, a tennis court, also lakes and woodland that are populated by
a great variety of birds and other wildlife. Accessed from a private
road and with automatic gates, it provides a peaceful and relaxing
location, perfect for relieving stress, but with numerous amenities
